Suck up or fuck up!

(This article is a contribution emailed to us by one of our fellow teachers. Pardon the use of "strong" and "dirty" words, but we respect his freedom to speak his/her mind. Afterall we cannot deny the anger that many of us feel. Again we would like to stress our respect for each person's freedom of speech.)

Here we are Filipino teachers having the time of our lives down south in lovely baton rouge, gud ol’ US of A, noooottt! Well yes sure its wonderful to have this opportunity to teach and live in the place where we’ve always dreamed of making our family’s lives better. And people here are just treating us just right! Bless EBR and the wonderful people of Louisiana.

Unfortunately Queen Latifah back west and her minions just loves to make our lives a living hell. Having charged us twice or even thrice the usual placement fee sure gave them the label of certified public fuck ups! I wonder how they sleep at night. Which brings me the question do they ever sleep at all? Those blood, money sucking shit heads deserve fifth world maximum penitentiary treatment .

Intimidation, a word they so lovingly adore, “they” would try every avenue and use it to try to scare us shitless.

Oh! And did I not mention that she’s getting commissions from the overcharged rents we’re getting here? We’re talking about them almost doubling the normal rate of the cost in staying in this decrepit, constricted, old apartment block in one of the not so nice neighborhoods in the city. Well, fuck u very much queen latifah, those ridiculuos commissions should get you more reward points from going straight into the gates of hell. Have fun and make our day!

Well, guess what , she aint playin’ us for a fool. Not only is she the dumb one, she’s just makin’ it clear that she is one of the crookedest mutha fuckin bitchy bastards in the world. As she boasted, “we are highly qualified Filipino teachers”, now your getting a taste of our being highly qualified. Now eat shit dumb fuck! You’ll be hearing more from us and you’ll be so full of charges and complaints from us you’d be drowned with disdain, disgust, and embrassment not only from the Filipino communities around the United States but from every nook and cranny of the educational microcosmic world of the United States of America!

I hope you enjoy being a bitch in prison when the dust settles. Yes, we are thankful to be here through you but it doesn’t give you the right to fuck us up even more. 10 percent of our monthly salary during our second year of teaching here should equate to 20 percent of your life taken every month during that year.

We are in a dawn of a new era queen latifah, we’re doin somethin righteous and fightin for our freedom just as the ethos of the forefathers of this wonderful nation has so rightfully fought. So to the Filipino teachers reading this, stand up, get up, don’t get fucked up! Yes we can! Yes we can! Yes we can! No other nation on earth would it be possible for us teachers to fight justifiably for our good cause than here in this bedrock of freedom and liberty! Yes we can! Yes we can!YES WE CAN!

  6. Sa tingin ko, dapat mag-focus tayo sa raised issues ng kasamang teacher na nagsulat ng article sa taas. You may not agree with the style of his writing but he is speaking his mind and is in agreement with our cause.

The way I see it is that the author is using satire-comedy style and is an acceptable and respectable form of literature.

  7. We are sorry but we cannot delete or censor any contribution as long as it reflects the issues. As we have stressed, this blogsite aims to be a venue for us to express our hearts and minds. The same way, we cannot stop anybody from making comments on a blog posted here.

  8. We continue to support for this cause of justice. The writer above is such a good writer, I good feel the burning fire of anger and frustration. A different style though and I respect him. However, to the contributors of this site we should never forget what we fight for. IT IS NOT JUST MONEY THAT IS THE NAME OF THE GAME, BUT OUR DIGNITY AS TEACHERS, AS FILIPINO PEOPLE. We should uphold that sense of professionalism. That we know how to manage our anger, express our mind in a way that would reflect our sentiments without setting aside our culture and dignity as a people. We want the world to know who we are by what we say and do...and THAT MAKES US DIFFERENT FROM THEM. Yes, we are in a land of free. But let us not forget that there is no such thing as absolute freedom. In a way, we intrude into others sense of respect for self and our nationality. Lulu and family maybe the worsiest we ever imagine, but we should never allow ourselves to be counted as ONE LIKE THEM! Choice of words so to say.

I'm sure that the writer of " Suck up..Fuck up" understand what i mean. And to the rest, don't be out of focus with this write up but rather retain the vigor, zest and VALOR that our forefathers have thought us. History speaks for our image as people WHO CAN FIGHT WITH HONOR..WE CAN'T ALLOW TO RUIN THAT. We can't succeed with anger and bitterness. Let your voices be heared,ACT UP AND BE COUNTED! but be reminded that YOU ARE PART OF THE FILIPINO PEOPLE who are gentle in distress, patient in anger, yet willing to risk for freedom and justice!!!! LET US NOT LOSE OUR IDENTITY AS A PEOPLE. THIS IS WHO WE ARE. THIS IS WHAT WE FIGHT FOR!!

  10. does it really indignify us if we use profane language? why the hell then does this kind of words exist in the languages of the world? how else do we call a shit? a shit is a shit. fuck is fuck. come on, peeps, we are not kids anymore. we know what it means when we say them. if the words we use are the guage of "honor and dignity", no one is purely dignified, no race is so honorable. we are not stooping down to lower levels here because first of all, we are not talking about who's moral and who's not (let God be the judge). this is about the user and the abused, the oppressor and the oppressed. why muffle the cry of the helpless captives down in the dungeon? never be hesitant to use profane words to the person who is an oasis of profanity herself. let us not suppress the freedom we have, especially when we just use it to expose the barbarity of this one mad sick woman. God bless the hearts of the Filipino teachers who are victims of their own dreams. the battle has just begun. those who are not brave enough to be part of the army of this battle may discreetly support by keeping the same faith with us.

i'm with you, Orgasmic Chagrin. together, we can blow Lourdes down to the one cellular place waiting for her. --- holey soul

  11. the point is THIS IS NOT A BATTLE OF WORDS! please be reminded that we are teachers...role models supposedly...
SHIT can be called POOP or FECES!
FUCK can be called SEX or MAKING LOVE!
COME TO THINK OF IT, CAN WE WIN THIS BATTLE IF WE USE PROFANE WORDS??! IF THAT WAS THE CASE, THEN I COULD HAVE CURSED SHIT AT THAT STUPID MOTHER-FUCKER BIATCH SINCE THE BEGINNING AND I WOULD HAVE BEEN ENJOYING MY $20,000 NOW!!

  12. If we truly believe in the goodness of God, then we should also be willing to be "holy" in our own little way. We should avoid cursing even if we wanted to. Yes, No one is good but if we do what the world loves to do, then what difference do we make.
How can God be on our side if we praise Him with our mouth and curse other people with the same?
I truly believe that we should fight this war with honor and dignity. We should all act professionally. We are all educated and we know, education brings forth change in one's attitude and behavior. I truly understand your feelings. We are all victims here and let us not forget what we are fighting for. We have to be different from her/them!!!
Yes, we need to fight.... We have to do it now before its too late.....

  14. How can we solve this problem if you are fighting each other? You are not helping teachers. Stop fighting. Just respect others opinion.

  15. let us be who we are so long as we are not oppressing other people. if you don't speak profane language, bless your soul. if you speak profane language, like me, pray for your soul. hahaha!

seriously, let us respect our differences. i am just one of the many who don't make a big fuss about shit, fuck, suck, hell, etc (the list goes on). of course, i don't use it to call a friendly neighbor; neither do i use it to comment about a fellow who has done no harm to anybody. when a situation is shitty, i call it shit. that's just who i am. and i think that shit cannot complain if it's called a shit because it is really a shit.

this blog is here so we can say what we want to say. now don't let others' style of expression rob your soul. express your own sentiments on your own way. if you are being righteous, well that's who you are. i have nothing against you. just don't "milk me dry" because that's another story. :)

this blog is not a show of good examples. this is not a role-model hunting. good examples won't save us now either. this blog is here as a reservoir of all the pains, hopes, and prayers that need to be poured out and shared. let every bruised Filipino teacher cry out loud here. teachers, let's be reminded that even though we are different, we are one.

  17. you guys are funny... really...
after they have brought all of us here, after
pleading and all, asking them to give you work
here, that's what you guys do?? that's libel...
    hahahaha...

    ReplyDelete
  18. We did not plead for work. We send them our resume' and because we are qualified, we were given a chance to be interviwed (for a fee). In every process we go through, we paid for it. (More than what we ought to pay) Do you know really the function of an agency? Let me tell you right from the contracts' point of view. It is their job to find us an employer for a fee. It is clearly stated there, right? We pay them for every service they do for us. You mean to say when we go to a massage center, ride on a bus, eat on a restaurant, have your nails done and have your hair cut ........ we owe them something? NOT AT ALL.....because we pay for their service.
When you are teaching in the Philippines and you.
Don't you think we can't come here without PARS and Universal? I don't think so..... There are a lot of agencies back there! And they only charge their clients $5000-8000 (airfare included).
PARS and Universal are both suspended in separate cases. For what reason? The lawyers are taking care of that. Did you ever google the Secretary of State of California- business portal? It says there that the first Universal Placement owned by Lourdes Navarro was dissolved. The second Universal Placement was suspended either.
Blog is a site where you can write all you want to write. Opinions, thoughts, perceptions, etc.....
If you really think we are funny, tell that right at the face of a lawyer.....
Ask somebody who knows the law and not rely on your own understanding.....(you got little)...

    ReplyDelete
  19. Haha! Joanne is actually the one who is funny. She think that we are here is because we pleaded. What are you talking about Joanne? Maybe that was your case. So Joanne you think that you are not qualified and you are only here bacause you pleaded to be brought to the land of milk and honey? If that was your case, well good for you.

However, I know for a fact that many of us are here because we are qualified, because of our own hard work to become high quality world class teachers. I dont credit any placement agency for my achievements or even failures in life. It is my own making.

And even without PARS and Universal, there are other law-abiding and morally upright agencies. So dont project as if PARS and Universal are gifts from heaven. Because the way I see it, they are a twin refelection of pure evil.

    ReplyDelete
  20. And by the way, Joanne, are you sure you know anything about libel? Do you know anything about freedom of speech and expression. Did you know that that is protected under the first amendment in the US Constitution, the constitution of a country that you "pleaded" to be brought to. :-)

  21. Joaane, think before you write. Organize your thoughts. Read first and ask for advice. Tsk, tsk. hmmmmm. I don't blame you to have "utang na loob" kay Lulu.
    Teachers, you probably know why.........

  25. Common teachers. Most of you, if not all, are already lining up for renewal to Lulu. Your all educated but are afraid. Afraid to take risks. Ask yourselves. Who among you is not renewing thru her? You are weak.

    Prove yourselves. Be like Bonifacio.

  26. There is nothing wrong with expressing your anger but doing so in such a foul manner is quite frankly, very disturbing. This actually was written by a teacher?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well, i say let us not focus on the form or the messenger, lets dwell on the message. what is clear is queen latifa has done such unspeakable acts and treated us teachers inhumanely. She deserves this treatment. even more...

  28. en eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth!

i cant imagine how foul-mouthed lulu might be prompting the teacher to write with such profanity. she is just getting a dose of her own medicine.

  30. yes, these people are at fault of getting richer and richer from the labor of others. to joanne, maybe you pleaded but not everyone did that. where is your pride? they needed us as well as we needed them. purely agent-client relationship, strictly business. to the one who made this site, i salute you but did you ever think that posting such negative comments would help solve all your angst? the way i see it, it is like a forest fire that starts from a tiny spark and would spread wildly out of control. and yes, surely pars and universal placement would burn by it along with some people who have worked so hard to achieve their goals, dreams and ambitions. those people who are still back home waiting for their visas for months now, have you ever thought of it? teachers, is this how we should act? there are legal ways to solve these problems. be discreet, have'nt you learned from experience? all the negative medias of our country being shown to other countries, did it do good? very depressing to see these comments coming from "professionals". if this was a blogspot from another country and you happen to stumble on it, what would you think of these kind of people? .....good luck to us all....

    ReplyDelete
  31. discreet? the hearts of us teachers must burn in determination to fight against this Lulu. most of us are hesitant to fight if not turncoats.

shame on those who retreat. those who are said to be brave but are afraid of the imagined consequences.
